Arrangement and Commissioned jobs will generally follow these steps:

2 Agree upon a product, the costs, and delivery schedules
3 Review product periodically incorporating changes as agreed upon
4 Create the Desired Deliverable (as specified) for final approval
5 Deliver the product
I normall require 50% of total cost up front with the remaining 50% of total cost due
at delivery. I also believe in communication by any and all possible means; Email, Phone,
Mail, and/or In-Person Meetings as often as needed.

Individual Measure: |
We chose to charge for most of our work according to the number of non-whole-rest individual measure as others
also are doing. An individual measure describes one measure on one staff of music notation.
|

Examples: |
As an example, one measure of a typical piano piece would contain two individual measures

I will not arrange a piece without Copyright Issues being properly attended to!.
I will retain copyright on all purchased pieces. You will have the right to perform
the piece in any venue where NO MONEY IS EARNED FROM THE PERFORMANCE OR RECORDING.
If you commission a piece then the copyright will belong to you, but my name as composer
must remain with the piece!

Basic engraving |
consists of good page layout, clear notes & rests, proper dynamic markings, proper
grouping and order of staves, reasonable amounts of articulation and bowing markings

Enhanced engraving |
consists of fingerings, guitar tablature, special symbols, avantgaurd staves, lyrics.

will be free if shipping total costs are greater than $99.00
